Welcome to a virtual skyscraper built of countless levels each
containing an infinite number of rooms. Although all of the rooms are
different, they do share one special power - they are all able to generate
instrumental easy listening music from the 50s, 60s and 70s. This ability
is also shared by the building's elevator, even coming with its own attendant
Bubba the Loungehound!
The Elevator Zone is a series of hour-long shows specialising
in instrumental music and trivia from the Cold War era, each show featuring TV,
rtadi0o and films from that time along with the cream of space age pop, cocktail
and "bachelor pad" music. Individual playlists are determined by
which "rooms" are visited in each episode.
