| HOSPITAL BROADCASTING WEEK 2005 National Hospital Broadcasting Week is the annual opportunity for the 300 or so hospital radio stations in the UK to promote themselves and the cause of hospital radio in a co-ordinated publicity campaign. In 2005, HRB received quite a lot of publicity.. 31 March - The HRB Easter Egg and Spoon Challenge was a big success. Click on the link below for the first of what will hopefully become an annual event. We hope that the Basingstoke Observer will feature the story during hospital broadcasting week itself. 31 March - Article in Basingstoke Observer - promoting our nomination in the awards although going a bit over the top at how well we did last year! 2 April - The station featured in all the morning news bulletins on Basingstoke's Kestrel FM. 2 April - HRB was one of the ten nominations in the Station of the Year category at the National Hospital Radio Awards. The result was a commendation from the judges - see www.hbauk.com for the full list of winners. HRB members Andy K and Harry Robinson represented HRB in Belfast. At the HRB V WHR Skittles night on 15 April, HBA Secretary Nigel Dallard presented Programme Controller Neil Ogden with the certificate... 3 April - HRB On Show at the front entrance of the North Hants Hospital from 11am. Come and meet the team. 5 April - Harry Robinson, Andy K and Neil Ogden photographed for a future article in the Basingstoke Gazette. The article appeared on Monday 11 April, and the publicity poster for the paper that day even mentioned it!
7 April - Article in the Basingstoke Observer about the Easter Egg and Spoon Challenge.
