Hospital Radio Basingstoke's programmes are free
to all patients once the bedside terminal has been activated plus you
also get a free direct line to the studios of HRB by dialing *800 on
your Hospedia handset.
Simply select Channel 6 on the Hospedia handset and listen on the headphones
attached to the control unit. On some wards, if you do not wish to use the headphones, you can
listen to us using the loudspeaker in the main unit.
The bedside units are operated and maintained by Hospedia -
find more information about them at www.hospedia.co.uk.
HRB can also be heard throughout the hospital on a normal
radio set by tuning it to 945AM. If you have difficulty with reception,
try pointing the radio in a different direction or moving it away from a
computer or other equipment as medium wave is very directional and computers interfere with
reception.
