HRB is once again part of the annual Basingstoke Lions Swimathon at the Sports Centre.
The event, now in its 32nd year, sees teams of up to 6 swimming as a relay for 30 minutes. Each person swims one lap (2 lengths) at a time and raises money through sponsorship which is split between their choice of charity and the Basingstoke Lions.
Many thousands of pounds has been raised by this event over the years and last year the HRB team raised a total of £248 which was split 50-50. Neil Ogden, Dave Warren and Mark Winwood will make up the team this year when the event takes place on 7 March.
