It's one of the biggest sporting events in the UK. Every year, the participants of the Great North Run fill the streets of Newcastle and Gateshead and this year is no different/
The hospital radio station for Newcastle Radio Tyneside has won awards for its coverage of the event and this year, for the third year, HRB will be broadcasting their coverage of the event.
Coverage will start at 9am on Sunday 11 September and continue throughout the buildup to the race. HRB will then rejoin the coverage for the final 30 minutes from 12.30.
