NOTE:  Applications are currently closed, although you can still complete the form below and we'll be in touch when we're in a position to take on new members.

Would you like to be part of an award winning charity?  Would you like to be part of the team that broadcasts a 24 hours a day service of programmes to the patients and staff at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital?  Are you reliable, hard working and enthusiastic about being part of a busy charity for which producing radio shows is just part of the story?

If the answer is "yes" we'd like to hear from you.  Please complete the application form below and we will be in touch.

We have many plans to expand our service in the future.  We want to eventually be able or provide more in-house produced shows during the daytime - perhaps a hospital news programme, special guests from within the hospital etc.  It would also be nice to be able to present request shows during weekdays, but to do all of that we need people who are able to volunteer regularly during weekdays - perhaps shift workers or retired.  If that includes you, then we would love to hear from you.

If you wish to join just as a ward visitor, click here.

Please note that we do not offer "work experience" and you have to be over the age of 18 to join us.

Please be patient - we will be in touch.

Membership is renewed annually on January 1st and costs £18 a year.  You will be asked for your membership before you start your training.  If you join part-way through the year, this will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.  Initial membership is provisional only and you do not have full membership/voting rights until you have been formally accepted as a full member of the station.  An HRB polo shirt is £8.

During the time of your provisional membership, we will follow up all references and all new members will be expected to complete and return a police check form.   You will be given a membership pack of information and forms to complete when you are accepted as a member.  Your training will start once these have been completed and processed.
