Some of HRB's Christmas memories are included in a new book published by the Basingstoke Archaeological and Historical Society this Christmas.

The book, Happy Christmas Basingstoke, contains memories from all sorts of Basingstoke people and organisations going back to the early 20th century.

HRB's Neil Ogden was interviewed for the project following editor Barbara Applin's appearance on The Sound of Sunday earlier this year.  The full recording is held in the Wessex Film and Sound Archive in Winchester along with recordings of all the other interviews carried out for the book.  

The book costs £9 and is available from Waterstones, the Milestones Museum, the Willis Museum and the Basingstoke Archaeological and Historical Society.  More details at www.bahsoc.org.uk.
