MARCH 2010

HRB entered a team in the 2010 Lions Swimarathon.

The event, which took place at the Sports Centre in Festival Place in Basingstoke raises thousands of pounds for charity. Participants split the money they raise through sponsorship between a charity of their choice and Lions supported charities.

HRB members Jeanette Campbell, Julian Mills, Mark Keavney and Neil Ogden managed 25 laps (1 lap = 2 lengths) in 30 minutes. It's the second time HRB has taken part - the last time being in 2008.
