There are several new programmes and new series coming to HRB
over the next few weeks.
New presenters currently in training will be making
their debut in the next few weeks
G Floor Jukebox is on the move with a new team of
presenters playing requests for the children's ward every Saturday morning. The
show is
Watch Out Weekend will be the new show that will
precede G Floor Jukebox every Saturday morning with a look at what's going on in
Basingstoke each week, some great new music and a classic episode of G Floor
favourite Rupert The Bear.
Around the Hospital takes us to different department at
the Basingstoke and North Hants Hospital to find out about what they do and
about the people who work in those departments. We've already visited the
DTC and the Hospedia team, more will follow in the coming weeks.
The Chart Show with Ray Oxley comes to Thursday
evenings and Friday afternoons. Each programme is a complete top 20 countdown from
another week and another year from the 1960s to the 1980s.
All New Comedy Hour is an hour of classic comedy clips
mixed in with some great music. The shows have been remixed from the
series that has appeared on HRB in the past and there are brand new editions
not heard before as well. Hear the show on Saturday afternoons.
All New In Concert features the world's biggest artists and
groups performing live and has been a regular part of HRB for many years.
We've added more to the series which will continue to run at 10pm on a Friday
and Saturday night.
Frequency Cast is a brand new magazine programme that
comes to HRB during April. You'll find the latest gadget and technology
news during the programme which will be updated every month and can also be
found as a podcast on the internet at www.frequencycast.co.uk This
show has been nominated in the Best European Podcast Awards.
Election Night Live will reflect all the excitement as
the results are declared and we find out who will be running the country for the
next 5 years. The HRB team will be bringing the results as they happen
with the emphasis on the local results.
The Elevator Zone is a new hour-long programme of easy
listening relaxing music to start Sunday mornings. It comes to HRB later
in April.
The Rainbows will be back on HRB in May - this time the
South Ham Rainbows are paying a visit to our studios.

special concert performed for hospital radio.

countdown of the most requested songs on hospital radio in the
