Magnificent Seven Award Nominations

Hospital Radio Basingstoke has been shortlisted in 7 categories for the National Hospital Radio Awards. 

The nominations were announced early on New Year's Day by the Patron of the Hospital Broadcasting Association Alan Deadicoat.

Sounds of the 50s with Paul Le Feuvre was shortlisted in the Best Specialist Music Programme, Dave Warren's interview with Basingstoke MP Maria Miller was shortlisted for Best Speech Package, our coverage of the Magna Carta Festival was nomiinated in the Best Special Event coverage.

Mel and Adie are nominated for their show in the Best Show with Multiple Presenters category and Dave Warren and Christine Rowley are nominated in the Best Male Presenter and Best Female Presenter categories respectively.

Finally, HRB is once again nominated in the Station of the Year.

Only Radio Glamorgan have more nominations than HRB this year, making 2016 the station's best year ever for awards nominations.

The Bronze, Silver and Gold winners for each category will be announced at a gala awards ceremony in Watford on March 19th 2016.  The full list of nominations can be found at https://www.hbauk.com/news/hba-awards-shortlists-2016
