Phil was a member of the station when it was known as CMMR
back in the 70s. He presented a show of big band and swing music
throughout his time with the station and since leaving has made radio his
career.
We tracked Phil down at the 30th birthday celebrations in 2002
and since then the invitation has been open for him to come back and guest host
a show on HRB.
That time came on Sunday 29 April 2007, the weekend of the 35th anniversary.
Phil did a show that included chatting to two members of Hospital Radio Reading
who were celebrating their 50th anniversary.
