Anything which has words you can hear and a good tune to go
along with it;
MUSICAL DISLIKES:
Songs which don't make sense and you can't hear the lyrics
ENJOYS MOST ABOUT HRB:
Meeting patients and the opportunity to be creative on air
and not be totally restricted by commercial pressures and formatting.
BEST HRB MOMENT:
Winning the regional BT award in 1992, and coming in the top
10 for the same category in 2003, 2005 & 2006. Also all of Basingstoke
Carnival Radio and the Kestrel FM short term stations;
Getting back on air in January 2001 and being re-elected as Programme
Controller. Also the many happy Thursday nights spent with the
original Thursday night team broadcasting live from the wards getting the
patients and staff involved on the shows.
OTHER RADIO EXPERIENCE:
Basingstoke Carnival Radio and Kestrel FM short term
stations in the 1990s, and production and presenting on Alton's Delta FM.
Also helped produce the sports show on Basingstoke's 107.6 Kestrel FM for
a year.
