Hospital Radio Basingstoke held a charity family fun day on Saturday 16th July 2022, which was held at the The Fox Pub, Newfound, who kindly hosted the event.
The day involved DJ’s, live music, bouncy castle, barbecue, lucky dip, silent disco, raffle and song requests of course. The evening saw a ticketed disco with dancing late into the night.
Lots of people attended and lots of local businesses donated to the raffle and there was even a live link up to the Saturday afternoon show.
The aim of the event was to raise funds but also to raise awareness of the station as it looks for more volunteers to expand its award winning team.
The event raised £1588.00, which will go towards essential funds to run the radio station.
