The second North Hampshire Medical Fund abseil will be covered live on HRB on Saturday 10 September. The event follows on from the success of last year which raised over £11,000 for vital equipment at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
Last year, chairman Dave Warren did the abseil, down the 60 feet of the wal of the hospital, dressed as a chicken and live on the air. This year it will be Simon Penn's turn to take up the challenge.
HRB will be live on the air to cover the event and talk to some of the others taking part. Simon will be the fourth HRB member to take part in an abseil.
