We are looking to cover the Basingstoke Half Marathon on Sunday 6 October at the War Memorial Park. This involves walking around interviewing those taking part and later reporting on the result, interviewing the winners and covering the prize giving.
The race is due to start at 11am. From 9am to 11.30am we will be saving interviews to Dropbox files which will then be imported to the log and played out automatically. You will therefore need a phone that can save to Dropbox.
From 12pm onwards, the idea is to hopefully send interviews by WhatsApp voicenotes for editing at the studio end and playing out on air. For this we need a live show in the studio from 12pm – 1.30pm (no ward round will be needed for this)
We’re looking for 1 – 2 people for each shift at the park and one person on air live from 12 – 1.30. I will be producing the show in the studio getting the interviews ready for broadcast.
