Would you like to be part of the team that broadcasts 24 hours a day service of programmes to the patients and staff at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital? 

Are you reliable, hard working and enthusiastic about being part of a busy charity for which producing radio shows is just part of the story?

You will be expected to get involved in fundraising and other activities as well as collecting requests from patients and staff around the wards.

Membership is renewed annually on January 1st.  You will be asked for your membership fee before you start your training.  If you join part-way through the year, this will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.  For a member who presents a show, the annual membership is £25 (non presenting members pay £10).  

During the time of your provisional membership, we will follow up all references and all new members will be expected to complete and return a police check (DBS) form.   You will be given a membership pack of information about the station and undertake training in all aspects of being a member of the station.  

Your application should include two references who will be contacted during your initial training period.  Neither reference should be family members or anyone already involved with HRB.

By submitting this form, you agree to complete the DBS form and other membership paperwork within one month of being given the form to complete.

I authorise Hospital Radio Basingstoke to approach my references on my behalf.
