HRB is always on the lookout for new members to join our team.
Our members provide information and entertainment for the patients and staff at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, playing requests and providing our service of programmes and information every day.
Most of our volunteers are presenters, but we have non-presenting roles too, such as ward visitors who go around the wards to collect requests to be played on the air later.
We are also looking for someone to fill the specific role of Treasurer and to add our our studio engineering expertise.
Maybe you have an interest in audio production or writing scripts for features for broadcast. It could be you want to help come up with and implement ideas to raise money or maybe you can help sell advertising and sponsorship for our programmes and features.
We have some big plans for the next few months as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of hospital radio in Basingstoke. Why not be part of it?
