Once again HRB will be broadcasting from the War Memorial Park as over 1000 people take part in the Basingstoke Half Marathon.

It’s the most participants ever in one of the major events of the year.

The team will be lead by Scott Rawlings, talking to some of those taking part and hearing their stories and reasons for doing so.  Neil Ogden will be there for the finish and there will be highlights of the days coverage later on The Sound of Sunday.

The start of the race is an hour earlier than normal this year, at 10am, with the 10k race starting at 10.30 and the children’s races between 9 and 9.30.
