HRB took on the task of cycling, on static exercise bikes, the distance from Basingstoke to the most northerly hospital radio station in the UK.  We did it in the foyer of Basingstoke Sports Centre in Festival Place in Basingstoke.

The event started at 9am on Friday 22 July 2005, with Vernon Pearce and Brian Starman looking after the first few hours with others helping out as well.  Even Steve Combes, Sports Centre Manager got on his bike and cycled for us.

By the afternoon we were making good progess helped along by various people who came up to us wanting to take part.  During all this time, we were also collecting money from those passing by.
