HRB can now be heard on DAB radios around Basingstoke after launching as a local Health and Wellbeing Community radio station on Friday 31 March at 12pm.

Presenter Neil Ogden played Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” as the first song to be heard and continued with an hour of upbeat music mixed with good luck messages from a variety of different people including Radio 2 presenter OJ Borg and Speaker of the House of Commons Sir Lindsay Hoyle.

The programmes continued with live Music on Demand shows throughout the weekend which attracted messages from those listening on DAB as well as online.  Lots of requests from patients and staff were also collected.

The station will be promoting a message of health and wellbeing as well as reflecting what is happening around the community, alongside the regular mix of music and regular shows.
