HRB was out and about at the Basingstoke Fire Station Open Day on 8 September where there were fire and other emergency vehicles on display, those who work at the fire station were on hand to talk to the public about what they do and there was live music too.
There was also fundraising as a team of firefighters climbed the tower at the fire station for 24 hours to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity. That wasn’t easy on one of the hottest days of the year and they were in full fire fighting clothing.
Rich Oram, Station Commander spoke to presenter Neil Ogden about the day.
