HRB will be announcing its full Christmas schedule in two weeks time, but here's a taste of what's to come over the festive season.

There will be something for everyone over the festive season, most importantly, our Music on demand request shows will be live throughout Christmas including Christmas Day when Sarah Beattie will be playing requests for the children's ward.

Martyn Brown will count down the top 60 vinyl Christmas songs and Paul Baker will have the top 40 biggest selling Christmas songs ever.

We have two Matt Monro specials along with Led Zeppelin, Genesis and Queen all featuring in special documentaries.

There'll be another chance to hear some of our outside broadcasts from the last 12 months and we'll play the year out with Richard Smith and the Ultimate New Year's Eve.

Our usual Postcard shows from Spain and New Zealand will feature on Christmas Day and there'll be special Christmas editions of Sounds of the 50s and The Vintage Years.

And it all starts on 11 December with Neil Ogden's Sound of Sunday Big Christmas Show featuring the Great Christmas Cracker Dash, special guests and loads of instant requests.

That's just some of the highlights.  There's plenty more on offer.  Find out more during the first week of December.
