Mayor of Basingstoke Dan Putty hosted a flag raising ceremony to mark Armed Forces Week on Monday 24 June.

A bugle was played to start the service which members of the armed forces community including cadets, veterans and serving personnel along with residents, councillors and politicians attended outside the Civic Offices where the Mayor’s Chaplain, the Bishop of Basingstoke David Williams, welcomed everyone.

The whole event was recorded by HRB and can be heard at 2.40pm on Saturday 29 June.  The video can also be viewed below.
