HRB cane away from the National Hospital radio Awards emty handed for the first time since 2009, but can still be very pleased with the three nominations it achieved at this year's National Hospital Radio Awards.

HRB was nominated in 3 categories including Station of the Year which makes the station one of the top 10 in the UK.  Christine Rowley was nominated in Best Female Presenter and TV Centre The Final Tour was one of the 10 shortlisted entires in the Best Special Event.

Other highlights of the ceremony included some of the clips from the nominated entries being put together with the Creature Comforts characters which were created by Bristol based Ardman Animations.   There was also a sequence of photos at the end from the nominated stations played to the theme of "Proud" by Heather Small to highlight the efforts of all stations in entertaining patients around the UK.
