The nominations have been announced for the 2026 National Hospital Radio Awards and once again HRB has been nominated.
Saturday afternoon presenter Thanga Rekha has been shortlisted in the Best Newcomer category.
There are 13 categories in total and all the winners will be announced at an awards evening to be held in Bolton in March and will be celebrating 100 years of hospital radio in the UK.
The first hospital radio station can be traced back to 1926 although the very first station in the world actually started broadcasting in USA in 1919.
