The 2016 Basingstoke Festival will start on 17 June with the Basingstoke Carnival Parade winding its way through the street of Basingstoke from Cross Street to Eastrop Park and HRb will be there to bring this special event to its listeners.
In a special show, HRB's team will be assisted by some of the Proteus Theatre Company to describe the event and talk to those taking part. It promises to bring something of the old style Basingstoke carnival procession mixed in with a street party carnival atmosphere.
HRB will also be at the Old Basing Carnival the following day and at the World Party in Eastrop Park the following weekend as well as promoting the events of the Basingstoke Festival throughout its shows.
