Sunday Night 70s and 80s

The Hospital Broadcasting Association has announced that the National Hospital Radio Awards 202 will be announced in a virtual awards ceremony on Easter Monday at 7.

The awards were due to be held last month in Bolton as part of the HBA’s annual conference weekend but the event was cancelled. Since then the awards team have been working on a show that will be streamed on Facebook and on the HBA’s website.

HRB is nominated in 3 categories, Best Station Promotion (David Blower and Steve Fox), Best Speech Package (Drummer John) and Station of the Year.  Last year the station won Bronze in that category.

The awards showcase the high quality of programming produced by hospital radio station each week and the hard work done by the thousands of volunteers.  This year the HBA celebrates its 50th anniversary.

The awards show canbe seen at www.hbauk.com/awards at 7pm on Easter Monday.
