New Show Explores the Role of Sound in our Lives

Everything Sounds is a podcast and radio feature that explores the the role of sound in history, art, science, culture, and our everyday lives.

Each programme aims to highlight people, places, events, and ideas that expand our understanding of the power of sound.

For example, the first show in the series explores the sound of the ide and sea.  Other shows feature subjects such as sound in our environment and the different types of sound made by musical instruments.

The programme is already heard on several other radio stations, mostly in USA and can also be heard online at the show's website at http://www.everythingsounds.org.

Hear Everything Sounds on HRB on a Sunday at 1.15pm and as part of the Friday Tea Time show at around 6.30pm.
