HRB was at the Mayor of Basingstoke’s Flag Raising Ceremony for the 80th anniversary of VE Day.

The event was held at the war Memorial outside the civic offices in Basingstoke and attended by veterans and some of those who remember that time as well as some of those who are part of the modern day military services.

The service of Remembrance was led by Padre Charles Lewis and those who did readings included Councillor Paul Miller.  Hatch Warren School Choir also performed.
