Sunday Night 70s and 80s

Big hits from two great decades

Celebrating the NHS at 70

The NHS celebrates 70 years this week and HRB will be getting involved with the celebrations.

We've been talking to staff around the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who have told us why they enjoy working for the NHS.  There are 29 in total, hear them throughout the day on Thursday from 7am.

Also on Thursday, Richard Smith gives the NHS's birthday the A to Z of Pop treatment with a special show that can be heard at 4pm and again on Sunday at 10am.

Finally Terry Firth presents a special edition of his show Looking Back, which will remember the stories and events plus the music that was around at the time the NHS started.  Hear it at 10pm on Thursday evening and again on Sunday at 9.

There are also birthday messages from some of the management of the Trust as well as the Mayor of Basingstoke Sean Keating.

Join HRB for the NHS at 70 on Thursday 5 July from 6am throughout the day.
