Elvis Presley has been confirmed as the most requested artist of 2025 on HRB.
In the chart that was broadcast at the end of December, data from up to the end of November was used which revealed that Elvis was only 1 request ahead of Abba in second place.
But when adding in the requests for December, Elvis has been confirmed to be number one but still only 12 requests ahead of Abba in second place. Cliff Richard, The Beatles and Queen make up the rest of the top 5.
Meanwhile Abba’s Dancing Queen was revealed as the most requested song on hospital radio in the UK in the National Hospital Radio Request Chart that was compiled from data collected from UK wide hospital radio. The chart was revealed in January with the rest of that top 10 as follows:
