All of us at HRB were very sad to learn that Jim Simpson has passed away.
Jim has been a regular voice on HRB for many years with his show The Vintage Years, playing music from the 1930s, 40s and 50s, a show that appealed to our older listeners. The show was heard on a number of radio stations around the UK.
Jim was a volunteer for hospital radio for many years including as Chairman of the Hospital Broadcasting Association and was a regular at the annual national conference and awards.
